Paddlers, administrative and board members of the HVA, and Friends of the Lake executive members were gathered at Joanne and Scott Conant’s house during a cookout in support of the source to sound event. The “Housatonic River Hero” award was given in recognition of the effort FOTL has given to help improve contitions on Lake Lillinonah, the first impoundment on the Housatonic River. Both groups shared good company, pledged to work together to help solve the river’s problems, and developed a closer working realtionship.
