Location: Larsen Farm Stand –Brookfield Connecticut
On Saturday May 14, 2011 The Seventh Annual Still River Waterway and Greenway Cleanup will take place starting at 8 am at Larsen’s Farm on Junction Road in Brookfield, Connecticut. The clean-up is co-sponsored by the Keep America Clean - Great American Cleanup campaign, The America Rivers National River Clean-up Campaign, and Connecticut Water Trails Association. This year the cleanup will focus on the six mile Brookfield section of the Still River. Volunteers will work on collecting and removing trash and other debris along the way. Volunteers will be fed lunch. The sponsors are looking for volunteers not only to help with trash removal, but also with first aid certification and trucks for hauling trash. Please let them know by May 2, 2011 if you are able to participate – so they can plan accordingly.
If you represent a group – please give us a head count.
