Northeast Generation Services Announces Name the Skimmer Contest

Northeast Generation Services (NGS) has purchased a debris skimmer for use on Lake Lillinonah and Lake Zoar for implementation of the Debris Management Plan. They have yet to name the vessel and are seeking Friends of the Lake members assistance in a “naming” contest. The contest is open to all children that are 18 years of age and younger. Attached is a flyer with details of the contest. Replies are due by May 20th, 2006 and can either be sent by e-mail to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address); by mailing to Rosemary S. Plue, NGS, 143 West Street Extension, Suite E, New Milford, CT 06776 NGS will award the winner a $500.00 savings bond at the Lake Lillinonah/ Lake Zoar “Clean Up The Lakes Day” scheduled for Saturday, June 10, 2006. NGS will hold the awards ceremony at noon on the route 133 boat ramp at the conclusion of the “clean up”. NGS will make the award and unveil a banner with the name of the debris skimmer on it.
