This is the current water level of Lake Lillinonah. Our safety indicator should be used as a guideline only; higher lake elevations cause more floating debris. Always use caution and watch out for floating debris when navigating Lake Lillinonah.

Safest: below 194'
Debris presence unlikely - safe for recreational use.

Caution: 194' to 195'
Debris possibly present - caution advised.

Use Extreme Caution: above 195'
Debris likely present - dangerous.

Seventh Annual Still River Waterway and Greenway Cleanup Announced!

On Saturday, May 14, 2011 the seventy annual Still River Waterway and
Greenway Cleanup will take place starting at 8 am.

Volunteers will work along a six mile long area of the Still River in Brookfield.  Starting from Stew Leonard’s and ending at Aldrich Road, volunteers will collect and remove trash and other debris along the way.  Volunteers will be fed lunch. 

All volunteers are regsitered under the Federal Government’s Earth Team Program through King’s Mark - this program gives them insurance coverage while they are participating in the event.

To date the Still River Cleanup Has Collected:
144,000 pounds of trash
250 Tires
Filled twelve 10 Yard Dumpsters
