Friends of the LakePosted: October 20, 2005 in General
As you know, due to an early email - NEG has advised that the lake will start to go down this evening and very slowly tomorrow for general service and maintenance on the dam. However, rain is once again predicted, how much, they do not at this time, but they will be monitoring this very closely. They may or may not have to stop the draw down, or have a large one once again. We strongly urge you to remove your boats and docks as soon as possible to prevent a further damage. If you have workers coming to work on your docks or walls they may or may not be able to depending on what NEG decides to do. As of this time it is status quo. The draw down will begin tonight and we will have to see what happens. We will continue to keep you posted via email and on the website as soon as we receive information.
