Debris Updates

Lake Lillinonah is an impoundment of the Housatonic and Shepaug Rivers for the purpose of generating electricity which creates a wide fluctuation in water levels and causes debris to collect in the lake, which can endanger the safe recreational use of the lake. The FOTL is working with agencies and experts to insure that First Light Power does not violate their license guidelines on water level and fulfills their obligation to develop and execute a Debris Management Program (DMP).
