Lake Lillinonah Family Day BBQ 2009

Friends of the Lake is pleased to host the third annual Lake Lillinonah Family Day on Saturday, August 1, 2009 from 11:30am to 2:00pm, with a rain date of Sunday, August 2nd, at the Newtown Boat Ramp. Bring you family, friends and neighbors. Five years ago when the FOTL was founded the mission was to not only to be a vocal advocate for the protection of Lake Lillinonah, but also build a strong lake community. The lake is a destination for a variety of activities throughout the year. The goal of Family Day is to bring together neighbors, while offering an opportunity to demonstrate the many activities available to those that love the lake and all that it has to offer. Stay On Rt. 133 for about three miles. Take a right right onto Obtuse Rocks Road (there will be a brown boat launch sign). After two miles on Obtuse Rocks Road, turn left onto Hanover Road. Stay straight on Hanover Road. The park entrance is at the end of the road on the right. By Boat - Pull up and drop anchor in front of the Newtown Boat Launch.
